ERP Services

The Green Beacon team has extensive experience with clients in the mid-market. We are aware of a growing company's desire to effectively manage all back-office transactions (GL/AP/AR, orders, shipping, manufacturing, etc.) through successful ERP solutions and services. We also understand the needs and pressures of a growing enterprise, and we have developed best practices for successfully delivering solutions with a rapid and substantial Return on Investment.

New System Implementation

The Green Beacon team has worked with clients with multi-functional requirements for their newly selected ERP solution. These projects typically require additional rigor since it may be the first time that an organization has designed their business processes and defined how different organizational departments interact with each other. Green Beacon helps clients define their business and functional needs, and designs a phased delivery approach that addresses immediate needs. This allows both users and the organization time to incorporate the new application and functionality into the daily life of the business.

Upgrade

Upgrades are a fact of life in world of software. The Green Beacon team has experience with ERP solutions, and is familiar with both the architecture and the upgrade path required to implement the newest ERP products. We have helped numerous clients over the last year to successfully upgrade a client-server framework to the new Web application server architecture, and have migrated custom business logic, integrations, and functional application extensions to the web. In addition, we have worked with companies to not only upgrade the technology but often to redesign the processes to optimize the new release of the ERP system.

System Optimization

Often, the initial implementation of new ERP solution isn't always the most effective and efficient one. Most companies find that after their detailed business processes designs have been realized in the new system that these designs may still require some additional optimizing, updating and/or complete redesign. The Green Beacon team has worked with clients to optimize their existing ERP implementation to increase efficiency and user productivity.

Add-on Modules

An ERP system is often the largest and most complex system that an organization can implement and utilize. If an organization needs a complete ERP solution, including fiance, logistics and manufacturing, they often find that they have to prioritize these modules in order of importance. The Green Beacon team has worked with clients who have been using their ERP system for a period of time and are now ready to begin design and implementation of an additional module. We have worked with these clients to build these new modules and to ensure that the new module release will cause minimally impact to current ERP system users.

Reporting

An successfully implemented ERP solution is defined not just by how effective and efficient it is being the backbone to any business. It is also defined by being able to see how effectively you can report on the ERP operations to make the most informed business analyses and decisions for the company. The Green Beacon team has worked with clients to edit, re-write and create reports that accurately and succinctly represent the ERP system's current statuses and the state of the company's back-office operations.

Integration

While any ERP solution is often a critical for an organization, it is frequently not the only application used. Businesses have critical data stored in their CRM systems, custom web portals for customers or partners, or other business applications. Green Beacon has designed and implemented bi-directional data integration with custom and packaged solutions, and has extended ERP solutions with custom development for receiving orders, documentation management, or project and resource management.

Training

A key component of getting a return on your investment in a enterprise solution implementation is wide adoption and usage.  Often, adoption will not happen on its own, but requires that users are familiar with core application functionality as well as timesaving shortcuts. Green Beacon offers training for various audiences - from end-users to developers to IT administration.  In addition, we facilitate power-user sessions where we “train-the-trainers- who, in turn, can train other users.
